Dahlen, Berg & Co. provides Electric Supply Management Services to enable large energy users, in the complex and changing world of electric utility industry restructuring, to manage their electric supply risk and control electricity costs.

We help our clients understand their current needs and objectives and how those needs and objectives are likely to change. We also help them to understand the legislative and regulatory environment in the geographical areas in which they do business. We develop plans, which provide for specific actions at different client locations.

For states in which customers can choose electric suppliers, we perform Electric Procurements and help clients to competitively purchase electricity from suppliers that we pre-qualify. In other states, we organize participation in competition experiments, ensure that clients purchase at the most cost-effective rates and negotiate with utility suppliers for rate discounts. We also advise our clients on self generation.

We will manage the request for proposal process and negotiate contracts with the chosen suppliers. At the same time, we arrange for Delivery - for getting the electricity to the user's facilities - and determine the place and voltage level at which to take delivery.
