Bill Berg, Founder - Retired
During his career, Wilbur J. "Bill" Berg, among other activities,
organized groups of energy consumers and directed their interventions in
rate increase cases before the public utilities commissions and other
regulators. He also provided expert testimony before state and federal
regulators.
Prior to helping found Dahlen, Berg & Co., Mr. Berg held top
management positions with major manufacturing and marketing companies.
Mr. Berg held the position of Corporate Vice President, Director of
Business Planning and Material Resources for the Conwed Corporation in
St. Paul, Minnesota. Previously, he had served as a Conwed Division
Manager and, before that, General Merchandise Manager for The Flintkote
Company in New York, N.Y.
Bill Berg served the United States in World War II and the Korean War as a marine fighter
pilot. Mr. Berg holds a degree in Economics from
Carleton College. He studied business law and finance at the University
of Minnesota, business analysis and planning at Stanford Research Institute,
and Computer Oriented Production and Inventory Control at IBM's San Jose
campus.
Mr. Berg currently resides in Florida.
